What i am yet to crack (the biggie for me) is what motivated ESI to put out a Trade Halt under the conditions you mentioned yourself....why not just wait?
What is the Catalyst that 'occurred' recently that leaves ESI with a dire need to find out the ALDP results?

This is spot on and I agree. Why force a TH?
1. The market depth increased AFTER the TH was placed.
2. The ALDP website was updated AFTER the TH was placed.
Surely the TH wasn't because the website said things would be announced by the 31st December? So why?
I would have thought if ESI are in negotiations or at least constant communication with the Government there would be no need to call a TH, they would just wait it out.
The TH either implies they are not in communication with the Government or???? time will tell.
