    Jim,

I was listening to Phillip Adams on LNL a few hours ago. He was interviewing four Lefties. Two men were pro-war, on the grounds that Iraq is a police state and is by far the greatest violater of Human Rights anywhere in the world.

Both said who cares if the Yanks set up Saddam, who cares if Bush is lying or wants oil, the violation of Human Rights is the priority and needs the US to go in and remove Saddam with or without UN support ASAP. One was a reporter who had spent some time in Iraq.

The two anti-war's were women and all they wanted to do was slag Bush and Blair, but showed absolutely no concern for the suffering Iraqi's, apart from mouthing a few platitudes about what a terrible man Saddam is and we want him out too. I couldn't help thinking these women are hard as nails. They don't really care. That summed up all the peaceniks for me.

Toward the end Phillip Adams said ,in effect, "I feel an enormous sense of guilt that I have done nothing on behalf of the Iraqi's who are suffering under the brutality of Saddam's Regime".

I've always liked his style, I hate his politics but he went up in my estimation as a man with a conscience.

    regards.
