In Eric Noyrez's interview with Investor Intel he states that Mt Weld concentration plant is running at full capacity (22,000t) which is up from the 80% capacity reported in the annual report in late November.
He also stated there is more than 18000 tonnes of bagged concentrate at Mt Weld ready for shipment.
So if there is 18,000t ready to ship (almost 2 years supply of concentrate for LAMP phase 1) why the need to continue to operate Mt Weld at full capacity (22,000t)?
The Annual Report (page 14) states "WA production rates are synchronised to LAMP needs, focusing on cost efficiency".
The only conclusion I can draw is that the company is preparing for LAMP phase 1 & 2 to be running at full capacity very, very soon!
