Most of the wealth is in the hands of baby boomers and elderly . Agree on the disabled ,but again the government do provide assistance for these ppl.

I don t expect straight out assistance to the young group.

But i expect EQUAL rights as those ppl with more than one house.

They should be treated in the same way as " neg Gearing " and allowed to claim interest rates and council rates as tax deductions . Then it is fair .
A tax refund of 5 to $10K a year come in handy.
Capital gains to be treated as income same as investors.
"People simply have to live within their means" The gap between those who have the means and others is getting bigger.
imo ,SMSF to invest in N E W houses under control of government like the Defence Housing scheme.
They get a guaranteed income ,plus capital gain.Free of worries .
