Icantbelieve this debate is still on...OK abolish NG ,WHAT WILL HAPPEN? The building industry will take a hit the building of unit blocks will slow,some NG investors will sell to owner occupiers causing rental accommodation to get more difficult to find ,
Rents will therefore rise due to shortage of supply and more people will scream for more public housing.
I think most of those that support its abolition are renters who don't realise the outcome .Its like shooting yourself in the foot.
