Agree with most of what you say.
But - Balinese are almost 100% HINDU, not Buddist..
and yes, the Javanese are not - all generally Muslim - come to Bali to further their own economic status via tourism, and various lurks and perks. Many Balinese not fond of Javanese - at all.
