Bill Shorten has every right to voice his opinion, but did he do that? As far as I know he just said Cory was wrong. There is a difference.
Herein lies a big problem for the labor opposition. They are never going to win back government by simply saying that everything the liberals do, say or think is wrong. Some day they are going to need to be preemptive and say what they believe in, not what they don't believe in.
