I don't believe many would deny a woman the option in a rape case and even if the mother decided to have the child there are more than enough people waiting to adopt.
I believe in "pro choice" as a freedom of choice but have grave reservations about how some are currently using this 'choice'. In my own experience I have friends that have used abortion as a 'last minute contraceptive', one particular friend (male) has been involved with 7 abortions and treated the experience with a sense of 'water of a ducks back'.
The topic is very difficult and emotive, nonetheless needs to be had and condemning the Liberal Senator because you disagree with his position is deliberate avoidance of such a discussion.
