Well I am in my fully fuelled Mitsubishi Zero, complete with bombs and ready for the precarious trip that will be the next 6 monhts. I am going to resist taking profit on fluctuations and holding on for news on:
- UK Social Housing - Tangible progress on Alliander deal of 600 units, possibly expansion of that deal.
My take is I expect/hope for serious progression on these deals which will be associated with the confirmation of the latest generation Gennex fuel cells that have just been shipped to Ideal-Eon for installation in the fully integrated units.
The intent of these upgrades is to improve stack life and minimise degradation when cycled. Cylcing is one area where the SOFC is inferior to the PEM, but then again the PEM dont have our electrical effeciency so all a trade off.
So I expect/hope that 6 months into the field validation of the newer fuel cell stacks , which would already have shop testing and data from accelerated cycling and degradation trials; we will see serious movement from the likes of Alliander this year.
I suspect another 12-18 months for news of EON-Ideal, EWE-Bruns.
So for me the fact that the recent CR was not a huge success was a disappointment but feel comfortable enough they have enough cash flow to get them through to significant news on Alliander and UK-Fuel Pverty/Social housing programs.
So sadly we wont have the facility-capacity to meet expected growth in sales, but perhaps its the more defensive way of going about it bu securing the contracts then trying to convince the customer that the path to expansion is a certain one and only equates to a small delay in ramp up.
CFU have told us about the cost to mod the second furnace and buy a 3rd....but I really want to know is the timelines associated with this expansion.
If they use some of the recent CR to mod the existing 2nd furnace then that is a rather bullish action that suggests game on.
