HA, dont think so bud.
Even if LYC does go up you have to look at what is on the other side of the trade. eg Short "LYC" Long "XYZ" as long as XYZ goes up more or down less than LYC you win. In other word LYC could go up 100% and a shorter may not actually loss anything.
