Based on their statements up to last year they were looking for a JV partner for the tuna. This was prior to the recent SPP. They employed a company (BBP or something like that) to find and put together a JV partnership. Who knows how far that got....
My opinion is that it would become more attractive once it is profitable and stable with king fish. Especially if the technology for Tuna Fish proves itself over time. The Tuna is where the real money would be for CSS if they can successfully harvest good quality product from captivity. It would have to be worth a fortune.
Countries interested in this technology that have food security agendas, (like China) would love to get into this. Would also be a perfect cheap growth opportunity for a company like Tassal???
Personally was thinking today that it may be a matter of time before someone starts sniffing around for a deal on this. Only my opinion. DYOR
