i can appreciate that some people don't like the rubbish and pollution littered around much of the rest of the world, but i love going to dirty old stinky places full of life, colour, noise and personality.
not having a go at anyone else, but it is our stories that define us, and i prefer mine to be cinematic at the very least.
in the end, all we will have is our memories. i don't want all of mine to be from the same sterile vantage point, deep inside my comfort zone.
and if nothing else, an ability to fully embrace how the other half lives gives one an even greater appreciation for how fortunate we really are.
