I called Aldi after I read the first post.

Aldi were not aware of any call for the T Shirts to be removed. They have had no calls or SMS or emails. Nix nada no nyett nothing.

This is just a beat up by a struggling second rate newspaper.

Has as much veracity as my saying, I have just heard the journo who wrote the article has been forced to apologize and resign for being un patriotic.

ALDI now have the url for the article and will make a proper response which hopefully will be a 2 finger gesture towards SMH.
