My two cents worth is Russ is on the money with momentum trading. It's comparatively easy to skim 20% of a reasonably volatile stock over a month or so. Chart it, watch for trend breaks, wait until they are confirmed, and be prepared to jump out immediately if the uptrend starts to weaken. Use moving averages, and trust them over your own judgment. I often make better % returns in stocks I know nothing about. I do not however put large sums of money in them, I use them to pay my wages and that's all. AHZ doesn't fit this mould, as such I have a dangerously large amount of cash invested here. I also keep at least half of my net worth out of the market!
