appraisal well

We've had some discussion on appraisal wells for the Cua-Lo Gas Field today and it reminded me one of our Vietnam rigs had an option slot for a second well. Unfortunately I can't find my notes as to whether it was the rig at 105 or 120.

If the option slot was the 105 rig, subject to permitting they may be able to drill a second well very soon. Something to keep an eye out for in Mondays announcement.

I understand PetroVietnam are proactive on permitting matters and one would assume given the well has been in the planning for near on 6 weeks permit and govt approvals have been given due consideration early. (very much the Neon approach considering what they have done in recent times at Glau and Mountain View (CA)).
