7 km from atriums peculiar knob, it was discovered though aero mag survey. Giving Off a magnetic anomaly a lot weaker than the surrounding magnatite. Much like the anomalies that imx has identified then followed up with gravity survey then drilling for the discovery.
Being so close to p knob and areas showing similar characterics in surveys and the abundance of iron ore that makes up the area.
It would difficult just to dismiss it out of hand. How much how deep and fe content wi probably be a bigger stumbling block than not being there.
As for mt woods being dead no one really saw the jv for 60 mil being there so I really can't seeing being dead. For any company to put a large sum of money I am sure they want to check recheck and double check.
But like anything the drill bit will talk but I bet arrium is having a peek.
