What has Abbott actually done wrong here.

He campaigned on stopping the boats for 4 years .He got elected in a landslide . He's trying to stop the boats.

The only issue his detractors seem to have here is how he's doing it ,is it not ?? Or are they anti the actual policy which he was elected to implement ?? Or do they just not like Abbott.

I don't think there's any easy,hands off way of implementing what he has a clear mandate to do ,why don't you all just give him 5 minutes to do it before wailing like wild banshees on heat.

The issue is it wouldn't matter what Abbott did he couldn't possibly win in your eyes.

I used to enjoy listening to ABC news radio of a morning but they've gone completely apeshit over this ,every 15 minute update has some other leftist or other howling like a baby.

I actually don't agree with the policy personally but he's shown himself to be true to his word and it's probably going to work
