Sounds like you believe government should be a closed shop and info only gleaned from costly formal applications under FOI. Slippery slope stuff there. No media scrutiny, no ability for people to assess situations. Authoritarian governments like that wont last long. They will tend to upset to many people/groups along the way that dont like closet government.
In Opposition Abbott and the Coalition in conjunction with media insisted in information for purposes of transparency and accountability, now its all out the door with secretive modus operandi being the go. What else will they do behind our backs if this is the way of this government.
So far its right wing ideology at the forefront. When are we going to hear what they are going to do that will improve the lives of all Australian?. What are they going to do to maintain our standard of living, to maintain jobs, to assist business enterprise. Whats happening? We donr know. Too much secrecy.
