I am too. However how would the perp pay for killing someone? Imagine Daniel had died on the spot. There are no bills to be paid. So the killer walks scot-free. There is no price to place on a human life.
I wouldn't mind if he had to pay financial restitution IN ADDITION to being put in jail. In some middle eastern countries, they sentence them lashes of the whip or to caning. Maybe they should add that to the possible list of remedies. i am all for harsher penalties than what these dumb twits get.
