My point was that NO religious studies should be forced into our public education system!
Our children should not be indoctrinated into religion!
If their parents want them to have a religious upbringing, no matter what their religious or spiritual preferences then that should be a matter for the parents to pursue in their own time seperate from our education system.
If they prefer a religious bent then send your kids to a religious private school.
I am a strong believer in an education system free from religious bigotry.....
Whilst we live in a free and democratic society that tolerates all religious viewpoints and allows people the freedom to practice their religions, we DO NOT want religion forced on our children in our public schools.
