but isn't the thing for kinghitters etc that they think they are normal people confronted by the abnormal circumstance of a stranger out for a good time with more money than them or mostly with a normal,decent,attractive female so they attack?

I used to run punk rock dances in the 70's. Licensed.

I'd say the chief fight motivation was over women but I don't see that as this "defence" stated for these kinghitter/street fighters of today.
