As for religions losing their way. I'm a very simple man but I see there are at least 41,000 versions of Christianity and 1 Jesus and 1 God. That seems like losing the way to me. I see Muslims destroying countless innocent lives and subjugating women to second rate citizens. Preventing them from getting an education when the first person who should receive an education is the female because she can then educate her children.
It's kind of obvious isn't it that certain religions are falling to pieces? We don't need to be experts to see something as clear as the midday sun
i say,
mate, it's not religion that's the problem, it's man,
you are right, there is only one God and only one Jesus but a miriad of Christians,
but that is like saying that education is falling to pieces because if you get a maths test and give the same test to every child in Australia who has gone to school then every child should get 100 out of 100, and if not, then maths is falling to pieces.
because every child didn't get 100 out of 100 for a maths test, do you blame the text book for not having the right answer? do you blame the student or do you blame the Teacher, or do you blame the education system? cause in the end, one plus one equals two, but not every kid will get that right.
me, i blame the teachers (or in this case, the religious instructors)for not teaching the text book correctly and the students (or in this case the population) for not reading the text book correctly on their own and just taking the teachers word for it.
does that make sense? blaming religion is just a cop out, the Torah is there for everone to read, the bible is there for everyone to read, the Qur'an is there for everyone to read, i have read all three (more than once) and came up with the conclusion
Ecclesiasities 12 13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man
nothing in the Bible or the Qur'an says to not keep the commandments irrespective of what the religious instructors will tell you
