I see no reason for any optimism in the short term. They have to raise cash - something they should have done before gambling everything on positive test results. What price will they get a cap raising away at now?
Worse, though, is the damage to their reputation. NEN management drilled these wells first because they believed they had the greater chance of success. With two dusters back-to-back, why would anybody believe in their ability now to get a successful result either elsewhere in this field or under other tenements? I certainly don't any more.
It may come back from this, but I see a long and painful road ahead and I'd rather have what funds I could salvage out of this elsewhere. Unhappy with the result, but happy to be out.
