I said that the Middle Eastern Organised Crime squad is based in the SW of Sydney. Don't think I said that Auburn was in Sydney's South West, did I? Your post cracked me up as usual, but expected.
Anyway, just for the dummies, okay, how about the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad is the largest police squad in the NSW Police Force and focuses most of its efforts on areas in the SW of Sydney, particularly the Bankstown area, as well as surrounding areas within a small radius, including Auburn (which happens to be classified as Western Sydney).
Anyway, largest crime squad is focused there for good reason, as you well know.
