Disco…I've just come back from a quick overseas trip to the US via Qatar for a funeral...…so a bit behind conversations here….Bloody oath Cairo is dangerous….been there many times….wouldn't go now…It has always been a bunghole…now it's just much worse...
It's dangerous if you are Christian….and it is dangerous if you are female…particularly non-Egyptian female. Fly there and put your wife on a bus from near the national museum (big bus terminus there) to the other side of town….which side - your choice….I'd bet $100 she'd be molested, or an obvious attempt, along the way….In the middle east a lot of white women, and some asians, carry nice sharp long knitting needles for dealing with the animals. One good jab and they disappear….
Cairo is a dump…full of men who think they have the god given right to treat women like dogs….and treat Christians like rats….It's an issue that robotics can deal with eventually….
