You are right about rand probably will get to sell our gold.

My thought is that 'our' gold may not be sold in the traditional way to London or New York conected parties, but rather in a more direct sale to an entity probably Chinese based. And therefore because of the demand curve seemingly moving up, the price we get may be somewhat more than the 'official' quoted price in say London. And our accounts may not reflect the sale price until months after the sale.

It's a way to go into the future though! First gold processed and sold mid 2015 IMO.
