Nationalism: I am just an observer, and I arrived at my conclusions based on my observations. So I am very objective, no nationalism involved.

National competition: again it's my opinion that the USA will crash because the USA is traveling along the way to a dead end. But according to skol the Chinese/China is so dumb that the country and all her aunties + the uncles lately have been buying a dead asset gold I guess they just have to crash one day isn't it? So both will crash but I reckon it's highly unlikely they will crash simultaneously so one will crash before the other. Hence my suggestion that we watch to see which one crashes first.

Regarding PBOC buying up gold: you have to have lots of gold to be able to be in a position to use gold in whatever way for whatever purposes right?

We are not there yet in terms of tonnage so too early to talk about what gold will do in the hands of PBOC yet. We wait.
