I think Abbott campaigned on this for over four years.

He got an unequivocal mandate to do it.

He's doing it and from what I can tell hasn't done anything illegal or against the charter of an elected government.

Personally I'm not one of those who gives a rats either way on this issue ,but those criticising Abbott are just anti-Abbott.

He should be praised in the extreme ,a politician who campaigns on a big issue and then does all he can to deliver for those (the vast majority ) who elected him.

Those jumping up and down about it are still fighting the election campaign,get over it ,he laid it out clear and simple what he was going to do ,you got outvoted
