Quackie,
You did not provide any 'new & additional information' (insight) to what was available earlier, but provided your own opinion.
a) % of FHB who buy for cash (don't register for a loan),
a) again, we do have some estimates: it is about 10-12% of the FHB market. It isn't insignificant.
b) % of FHB who enter the market as investors (not register for FHB grant),
b) the data is NOT picked up, there are only estimates. Financial institutions report their data - but under 'investment loan" - not under FHB.
% of FHB who are not eligible for any government grants (i.e. not buying homes which are excluded from grants).
- the bank's lending criteria is not influenced by FHB grants.
'Household formation data would be data collected after a household was formed. Unless your talking about PROJECTED household formation data.'
The Treasury report is very clear about this. Presumably - you have looked at it.
So far - you have actually confirmed all my points and data, but added nothing new.
There is nothing to discuss - no new data and no new empirical study presented by you.
