my understand is that if its materially relevant to the value of the company they should disclose it, otherwise they are all going to be risking an insider trading scandal if only one person lets slip over a glass of wine to someone.
See Listing Rule 3.1. I doubt they fit under any exception. Interim results are not a 'supposition' or a rumour. They have market value.
IMHO They need to disclose the interim results.
