wa shark cull setback, page-45

bull sharks are not an issue and never have been,as a regular night diver in the Swan river which has plenty of them, there has only ever been one fatality and in 30 years i've only ever seen two.but in the last 18 months in the ocean off Perth we have seen four whites

show me the link that says the attacks have been by juveniles and i will despute that with evidence that the last three witnessed deaths have been by adult great whites which bit their victims in half. one young diver carried his brothers torso back to the beach

another, an American tourist, raised his hands out the water to be pulled inside a boat when a great white took off both his legs

yes sharks are a danger when we enter the water, they always have been,so are the roads and thats why we introduce laws and take every precaution to save "human" lives which is first and foremost

do you now want to suggest that we give up our lifestyle and stop swimming at our beaches or just run the gauntlet knowing there is a serious problem and great whites and tigers are getting closer and more dangerous every day ?

barely a day passes when Perths beaches are not now closed

as i said, stick to subjects that you have some idea about or that directly effect you. the overwhelming WA population is in support of control thats why our state government has moved before a child or family are taken
