People won't like this, but raising taxes on alcohol wouldn't be a bad idea as well.

The do it in Singapore and I can tell you - it works. I spent 5 days there and only saw one very minor drunken incident. One of very few places I've travelled where I've felt completely safe. Much safer than going out anywhere at night in Australia.

There is also a bid burdon on the health system with alcohol related illness.

Alcohol and Cigarettes should be taxed higher IMO.
