Wrong. There are d.ckheads who can't handle their drink in all cultures.
You are making a statement based on isolated incidents and taring the vast vast majority with the one brush.
In my times spent in Britain I could not believe how many fights i witnessed in England and Ireland. I don't think i went a night out in Ireland without witnessing a fight. And while we are at it, is the US university culture so much more mature than ours, where being in a fraternity is the norm. Are Americans so much more mature than us with a few under the belt?
It's not that Aussies are immature. There are plenty of immature people in other countries walking around fueled up on alcohol causing havoc in the streets.
