Shell has canned the astronomical and never will be profitable LNG plant in Gladstone. But it appears they will still produce CSG and on-sell to other trains in the port. This cancellation has lifted cost pressures on the remaining LNG plants but will they ever re-pay their huge capital cost? Slim chance imo.
