I think it absolutely could just be day traders. Hot Copper is but a tiny part of the investment world and there are many, many very wealthy individuals out there with the ability to move stocks in a big way. I would argue they are the first movers and HC people follow that trade most of the time.
Regardless, you could also be correct that there's good news coming and I hope you're right. I just took first profits at 5.3c and will reassess as the trend plays out.
