Another thing:

if they'd built a $5 million cash flow operation, and it was chugging along successfully, then AVB would have the reputation to make people more confident that they could get a $50 million operation happening (note I said AVB reputation, not the reputation or abilities of the individual directors). As it stands, AVB- the company- has no track record for building a mine.
