Who holds the convertible bonds issued on the SGX-TS in April 2013? Genting and associated persons perhaps - i.e. Lim?

The Bonds have a five (5) year maturity date, are convertible into ordinary shares of Linc Energy at the election of bondholders at any time up to just before 2018 maturity and are non-callable for a period of 2 years.

The Bonds conversion price has been adjusted due to the relist to, apparently about A$1.35 - i.e. about the current SP.... maybe current SP not coincidence?

The Notes have a $ value - so when converting the number of shares issued to convert will add up to the $ value of the notes so far as I understand if the current Market Cap is $700M the notes would be converted by issuing $200M USD worth of new ordinary shares. Dilution city....

If Lim holds the convertible bond notes and converts them at $1.35 and takes up the Genting option call on an additional $10.75M worth of shares at $1.20SGD offer price - next question then is who is the interested party behind the Credit Suisse holding - could it be Lim? If the CS holding was also Mr Lim and you add that 16% holding to the to the current Lim holding plus the convertible bonds what is the biggest slice he might have .... ?

Maybe Lim doesnt hold convertible bonds interest and doesnt hold the CS interest....who knows....

If Linc drilling results in Umiat and Gulf oil production in the next few weeks are very positive I expect the bondholders may want to convert at the cheap price they now have open to them rather than just take 7% per annum to 2018. This would result in the issue of approx 150 M new ordinary shares if all note holders converted so far as I understand.

What are others thoughts on these things?
