I also know one who is a drug addict, but not so bad that he can't "function normally" however he was classified as an addict and as such HAS NEVER WORKED - EVER!! He is now 48. [sorry, he has worked because he still has all his faculties but always cash in hand.]

Has a child and demanded a housing commission 3 bedroom house as a consequence. Got it [at the expense of a needy family no doubt]

The mother and daughter have never lived with him [the child is now 22] and he simply rents out the 2 spare bedrooms. all in all, a good life. Still on drugs-no rehab system and wants it to stay that way. Often got more a week than I did and I had to put in a solid 40 hrs.

Great system. I have worked all my life to support garbage like that.

Also, a thought:
It is a amazing how may hate the flag they live under, but love the welfare system it stands for.
