i suspect that the" hefty institutional support" you mention are probably the very same shorters themselves trying to get as many shares as cheap as possible.

yesterdays trading was pretty damning...
loads of single digit trades keeping the SP up !!!!
its like bots stopping the usual single digit trades forcing the price down.
pathetic really...
whether up or down this type of trading is an abuse and essentially is manipulative.

its an abuse because you and i must pay transaction fees to a broker,whereas these deviates dont have to.
of the 900 odd trades yesterday half were under a hundred shares,
some of this went on for hours.
