If the cost of a median priced home goes up 5% a year, that's $25,000 a year the vendor gets to spend on purchasing big ticket items that keep this country ticking over.

If you wanted to buy a big ticket item with 25 grand cash that you had to physically save from each weeks pay, you probably wouldn't spend it. Because its damn hard to save ask anyone.
