Every business wants to improve cashflow BBB. That goes without saying. I think you are trying to be superficial as the Barrick problem is greater than just improving margins!

Barrick themselves call it their "portfolio optimization program". POP, now that is a good acronym for a company with long term debt of about $14b and a recent impairment of assets around $8b plus mark.
