    The brine composition of the "interconnecting" lakes isn't identical.
    You may be correct with your assumption however we have already seen, to our benefit, that the evaporative process isn't always as predicted.
    I think it is possible that a difference in concentration of a particular compound may have an impact on crystallization. Perhaps MR has played around with a range of solutions. Even if he has, he will still need to repeat field tests for Karly. Without doubt previous work will expedite matters.
    I don't have a fascination with LD it's just that the only difference I see between Karly and LD is the resource size and thus mine life and potential size of initial operation. Karly is only going to be more profitable if more capex is spent on bigger ponds.
    Of course this makes it a much more attractive proposition and that's why it's a potential game changer. Despite this I still see LD as a cash cow, just a smaller cow than Karly.
    I fail to see the harm in raking in $90M a year whilst Karly is ramping up.
    We need to remember there is a significant lead time with this process.
