If the share price goes up 1c , you double the market cap from 1c unlike you only go up 1% from a $1 price.
Sorry I don't understand this at all. The above scenario isn't comparing apples with apples. A 1c increase on a 1c stock is the same as a $1 increase on a $1 stock.
Fundamentally there is no difference whether a company is 1c or $1. It does not affect what the company has fundamentally.
