you are entitled to your opinion and on that I do not wish to comment. You say you have been a shareholder for ten years so we may possibly have met as I have been a shareholder for a lot longer than that. I think you were incorrect in saying the CEO has moved to the position of MD. I believe he formerly held the position of both CEO and MD as well as being the major share holder. The change that has now occurred is that he has moved to the position of executive chairman and is no longer the major share holder by quite a high percentage difference. Furthermore, the new major shareholders have invested millions of dollars and will want to see a return on this investment which would be good for all of us. As you have said, the head may not have changed but there has been big change in who controls the company. He will now be expected to give priority to the best interest of the company ahead of his own and get results accordingly. If not the major shareholder/shareholders now have the numbers to change the board. Will they do so? Only they know, but the situation has certainly changed.
In replying to your comments It appeared that you had a genuine concern based on what you knew whereas some contributors appear to repeat opinions whose main purpose appears to be malicious and cause damage. I would not consider these to be worthy of comment.
