kippa,ok i agree with you with CEOs, but until you can change that, i think the generals salary reflects the importance of his job. Nothing much has changed with pay and conditions in forces, except now its a political football for people to kick around. Diggers etc deserve to get paid well,but like all jobs you only get what you are entitled to.I take my hat off to people serving now and service people in the past, it makes our lives here a great place to live.
