It's difficult to give up on a stock , but its important to recognise when things have changed . Most of the big hits have gone , company will need cash and thus be diluted heavily . The hopes that this will one day return to 20c plus aren't aligned to reality . Outside the risked value being decimated , the value of remaining assets per share will reduce further when the dilution does come . In these circumstances the board will be focused on raising cash to keep business going , as in the end its their jobs . For SH , the dilution will be large and will destroy the upside that some people believe exists
