re: : ann out...re estimates Happychappy,
all valid points, toss in the missing cut off grades , the breakup between oxides and sulphides, and disclosure of the methodolgy of converting historic data without drilling into a compliant JORC assessment of resources.
Would also appreciate a comment on metallurgy with references to the nature of the historic plant and what specific modifications are being proposed.
Add in there why are they stockpiling oxide ore in the short term? How is it correlating to the resource estimates?
Yes, and a thousand more questions no doubt-ability to use modern mechanised mining, labour costs, power availability, general infrastructure, tax rates.........
Reckon most of these will be answered by about March.
At this stage it reminds me a little of the original Bolnisi gold operation in Georgia, just down the road. Obviously the BSG ops were open cut as opposed to this one being underground however both appear to be typified by very low metallurgical recoveries with plenty left in the tailings. Hope IBR has the same luck as BSG.
Cheers,TAS
