Because without it the mine would have closed in a coupla years ...loss of jobs and state rev.
Rio won't get the big Shove , but the boot .
Why ?
For 16 years it has provided NO jobs, NO state rev.
If noone else was interested ...no big deal....
But wait , theres more...(lol)
Caz (and BHp) are absolutely commited to as fast track as possible Shova Development.....i.e. jobs and state rev(public interest ).....now we have a state gov's attention.
My opinion anyway..as they all are at this stage
