I am no chef but this is how I remember them. 1 Good Quality round bread roll; toasted; buttered just before piling on the ingredients ( it is not a bun) 2 Couple of rashers of bacon with fat on fairly well cooked 3 One fried egg well done but too firm 3 Fried onion 4 Slice of lightly fried tomato 5 Slice of cheese
And somehow Con and Effy got the flavour of the beautiful quality bacon juice to permeate the burger without making it soggy.
