Is that really your answer Director12? Is that what you really believe?
You come across as a clever guy. I've followed your posts across several forum topics to get an insight into you. I know you are a keen thinker and a good wordsmith. Is it not in the least bit possible that the Adam and Eve story is a moral tale and not to be taken as a literal story. That there is more to gain from it being an allegorical, symbolic teaching rather than something similar to an Aboriginal folk story. How the turtle got its shell. Why the kangaroo hops. How people came to be.
33 sons and 22 daughters. Brothers mating with sisters. How many were Aboriginal or Kalahari Bushmen or Cherokee or Pygmy or Danish or Chinese or Maori or Rapa Nui, etc, etc, etc.
Then they were all destroyed in the great flood 2,000 years later and Noah sired Aboriginal and Kalahari Bushmen and Cherokee and Pygmy and Danish and Chinese and Maori and Rapa Nui, etc, etc, etc, all over again. Not only all over again, but they all went back to the place they were before they were all drowned.
In 4,000 years we have developed into hundreds of distinct human groups, all 7 billion of us. There is hardly a single culture that can not be traced back well beyond 6,000 years. 4,000 years ago they all seemed to be doing very nicely, thank you. No evidence of a loss of population anywhere during the time of the great flood. Those devils probably tread water for the whole one year and 10 days.
What a busy 6,000 years we've had. Do we throw dinosaurs into this 6,000 year period? What about the close to 200 species of platypus that have been discovered in the fossil record? Boy, one could walk across rivers on the backs of platypus and not get your feet wet.
The human remains found in many, many places dating back tens of thousands of years were obviously not human. The millions of scientists who have spent most of their lives studying and being peer reviewed and who bring us this information are all obviously wrong. Even if it's the same kind of science that's used in hospitals and we bet our lives on it. Nope, still wrong.
Lets all stick our fingers in our ears so we don't hear anything and will never have to change our minds, no matter if they shove a whole mountain of evidence in our faces.
I need to find hobby.
